Australia’s inland rivers variously described as the givers of life, or the life blood of the outback, are deeply entrenched in almost every aspect of life in the outback. Georgina Crossing is a scene repeated almost every day across vast swaths of dry, unforgiving country that without summer rains, would mostly be unproductive desert.
