The term Artist Enhanced Prints, a process popular in the USA, refers to a fine art print on canvas that has been further enhanced by the artist after the initial printing process to add an extra touch of magic.
Excited by the prospect of sharing the emotion, colour and movement captured in my original oils, I am able to create individualised reproductions by hand-painting over the print to create three-dimensional texture and additional detail. While they may not possess the same value as my original oil paintings, enhanced prints provide another opportunity to enjoy the unique beauty and aesthetic appeal of my compositions in an economical way.
This process results in a unique hybrid, with a rich, elegant beauty of its own, reflecting my unmistakable signature artwork.
